The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills, while contributing to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
  • Support students in making strong academic progress and developing key skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and school-wide strategies for student achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and student engagement in the classroom and beyond.
  • Work closely with parents and other stakeholders to support student success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and appropriate teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student progress and engagement.
  • Ability to work flexibly, either full-time or part-time (3, 4 or 5 days per week).

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering innovative Maths resources.
  • Familiarity with assessment and tracking systems.
  • Experience working in a school with a strong pastoral and community focus.
  • Knowledge of Christian values and inclusive education practices.
