The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills, while contributing to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
- Support students in making strong academic progress and developing key skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and school-wide strategies for student achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Participate in staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities.
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement in the classroom and beyond.
- Work closely with parents and other stakeholders to support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and appropriate teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student progress and engagement.
- Ability to work flexibly, either full-time or part-time (3, 4 or 5 days per week).
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative Maths resources.
- Familiarity with assessment and tracking systems.
- Experience working in a school with a strong pastoral and community focus.
- Knowledge of Christian values and inclusive education practices.
