Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Middle School, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and educational philosophy.
- Collaborate with the Pedagogical Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and engagement.
- Work closely with the Pastoral Team to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
- Represent the school at various events and meetings, both internally and externally.
- Ensure the implementation of the IB Middle Years Programme and other relevant curricula.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Middle School Principal or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong background in international education, preferably within the IB framework.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and holistic development.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme and other IB Programmes.
- Familiarity with the Lehrplan 21 programme in German.
- Experience in leading school-wide initiatives and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional leadership.
- Experience in a multicultural and international school setting.
