Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the school’s curriculum and leadership goals.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s leadership and character development programme.
• Encourage and promote healthy lifestyles and physical activity both inside and outside the classroom.
• Participate in staff development and training to enhance teaching practice and professional growth.
• Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement in PE.
• Demonstrated experience of innovation and creativity in teaching.

Preferred

• Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
• Experience of working with disadvantaged students or in a multi-academy trust.
• Experience of leading or contributing to extracurricular sports or physical activities.
