Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning through one-to-one, small group, and whole-class interventions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Assist in delivering a knowledge-based academic curriculum in line with school objectives.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Promote a culture of leadership and character development among students.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and students.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives that support student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment that encourages growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting.
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
  • The ability to work with pupils on a one-to-one, small groups, and whole-class basis.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a leadership or character development programme.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Commitment to educational excellence and student success.
