A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher and Lacrosse Programme Lead to deliver high-quality teaching and lead a successful lacrosse programme. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student development and sporting success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons up to GCSE and BTEC levels.
  • Lead and develop the lacrosse programme to national level standards.
  • Coach and mentor students in lacrosse, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Collaborate with the Sports Department to enhance the overall sporting experience.
  • Participate in training and competition schedules, including weekends and international travel.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all sporting activities.
  • Maintain and develop the lacrosse programme in line with the school’s vision and goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education.
  • Proven ability to coach lacrosse to national level.
  • Experience teaching Physical Education up to GCSE and BTEC levels.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and development.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing and leading a sports programme.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical activities.
  • Experience with international competition and travel.
  • Familiarity with the school’s sporting culture and values.
