A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher and Lacrosse Programme Lead to deliver high-quality teaching and lead a successful lacrosse programme. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student development and sporting success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons up to GCSE and BTEC levels.
- Lead and develop the lacrosse programme to national level standards.
- Coach and mentor students in lacrosse, both in and out of the classroom.
- Collaborate with the Sports Department to enhance the overall sporting experience.
- Participate in training and competition schedules, including weekends and international travel.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all sporting activities.
- Maintain and develop the lacrosse programme in line with the school’s vision and goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physical Education.
- Proven ability to coach lacrosse to national level.
- Experience teaching Physical Education up to GCSE and BTEC levels.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and development.
Preferred
- Experience in managing and leading a sports programme.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Experience with international competition and travel.
- Familiarity with the school’s sporting culture and values.
