We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join a growing department and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. This role involves teaching across all age groups and contributing to a vibrant extra-curricular sports programme. The successful candidate will inspire students and support the school’s commitment to holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across the Primary and Secondary school.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a dynamic extra-curricular sports programme.
  • Support and lead after-school and weekend sports activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and engaging PE curriculum.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for students.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate PE with broader educational goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in PE and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sports development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physical Education across a range of age groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering extra-curricular sports programmes.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum or international education standards.
  • Experience with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Leadership experience or ability to take on leadership roles within the PE department.
  • Knowledge of sports coaching or related qualifications.
