The Opportunity:
A Primary Homeroom Teacher is needed to inspire and support Key Stage 1 students in a dynamic, inclusive learning environment. This role is central to shaping young learners and fostering a lifelong love of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 students.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and social interaction.
- Promote parental involvement through regular communication and updates on student progress.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop integrated curriculum plans.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed on best practices in education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching English as a second language.
- Familiarity with STEM-based learning approaches.
- Experience in school-wide curriculum development.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and learning.
