The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Primary Music Teacher to inspire young learners and shape their musical journey from the earliest stages of education. This role is central to fostering a vibrant and inclusive music culture across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons for Primary/Foundation Stage students
- Create a whole-school music culture through collaborative and inclusive practices
- Integrate music into project-based and theme-based learning across the curriculum
- Use creative and flexible teaching methods to enhance student engagement
- Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding in all aspects of teaching
- Support the school’s WISDOM values in daily practice
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a unique and innovative curriculum
- Utilise specialist facilities to enhance music education and performance opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience teaching Music to Primary/Foundation Stage students
- Strong understanding of curriculum delivery through project-based and theme-based learning
- Commitment to wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for music education and student development
Preferred
- Experience in developing a whole-school music culture
- Familiarity with British curriculum and international education standards
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience with music performance and event coordination
