Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences aligned with the England National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners, including SEN, EAL, and G&T students.
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to support the learning and well-being of students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being.
  • Reflect on teaching practice and continuously improve the quality of learning and classroom provision.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or equivalent with a mandatory post-teaching qualification (PGCE or similar).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching the England National Curriculum in a primary setting.
  • Experience working with EAL students and delivering differentiated instruction.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with hybrid or distance learning models.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities and leadership roles.
  • IT literacy and familiarity with online teaching tools.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to child-centered learning.
