The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate Reception Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role is central to shaping young minds and supporting children’s early educational journey. The position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time options, starting in the 2026/2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a German class teacher and support the afternoon programme twice a week until 5:30 pm
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons based on a benchmarked curriculum
- Apply diverse teaching methods to engage and challenge young learners
- Create a welcoming and positive classroom environment that supports student well-being
- Organize and lead class projects that encourage creativity and teamwork
- Contribute to the development of innovative teaching practices and curriculum improvements
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents to support student progress
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Certified training as an Early Years Educator or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Pedagogy, or a comparable qualification
- Experience working with children in the reception/kindergarten age group
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
Preferred
- Interest in learning German and understanding German culture
- Experience in developing and implementing new pedagogical concepts
- Commitment to supporting children’s individualized learning and development
