The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Reception Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role is central to shaping young minds and supporting children’s early educational journey. The position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time options, starting in the 2026/2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with a German class teacher and support the afternoon programme twice a week until 5:30 pm
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons based on a benchmarked curriculum
• Apply diverse teaching methods to engage and challenge young learners
• Create a welcoming and positive classroom environment that supports student well-being
• Organize and lead class projects that encourage creativity and teamwork
• Contribute to the development of innovative teaching practices and curriculum improvements
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents to support student progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Certified training as an Early Years Educator or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Pedagogy, or a comparable qualification
• Experience working with children in the reception/kindergarten age group
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English

Preferred

• Interest in learning German and understanding German culture
• Experience in developing and implementing new pedagogical concepts
• Commitment to supporting children’s individualized learning and development
