The Opportunity:

As a Reprographics Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the school's educational mission by managing cover for absent staff and overseeing reprographics services. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and school operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate daily cover for absent staff, ensuring appropriate learning activities are provided.
  • Supervise and support Cover Supervisors and casual supply teachers through training and appraisal processes.
  • Oversee pre-prepared tasks in classes, maintaining a purposeful and constructive learning environment.
  • Address unforeseen problems or emergencies in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Support teaching staff by producing a wide variety of printed and copied documents and resources.
  • Operate and maintain printing equipment, including photocopiers, laminators, and binding machines.
  • Ensure value for money by managing the ordering and maintenance of reprographics materials and supplies.
  • Collaborate with departments on administrative tasks and contribute to efficient resource management systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in managing cover for teaching staff and supervising support staff.
  • Ability to manage and operate reprographics equipment, including photocopiers and desktop publishing software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or a related field.
  • Familiarity with school administrative systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cost management and budgeting principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing efficient resource management systems.
