The Opportunity:

As a Reprographics Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning by managing reprographics services and supervising classes when teachers are absent. This is a vital position that ensures smooth operations and a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students complete set tasks in a structured and supportive environment.
  • Maintain a purposeful working atmosphere and manage student behavior effectively.
  • Address immediate issues and emergencies in line with school policies and report back to relevant staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including covering tutors and managing daily responsibilities.
  • Operate and maintain reprographics equipment such as photocopiers, laminators, and binding machines.
  • Produce a wide range of printed and copied documents to meet the school’s needs.
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks and ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Order resources and materials, ensuring value for money and efficient use.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in supervising students in an educational setting.
  • Ability to manage reprographics equipment and produce high-quality printed materials.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and adherence to school policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Familiarity with ICT and desktop publishing software.
  • Previous experience in reprographics or resource management.
  • Ability to differentiate tasks for students with varying needs.
