You will lead by example, delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that connect science to real-world applications and inspire a love for learning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons that integrate entrepreneurial thinking and real-world relevance.
  • Implement inquiry-based learning strategies that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Facilitate transdisciplinary projects that combine the British Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate approach.
  • Provide individualized support to learners, ensuring personalized learning experiences for all.
  • Collaborate with the Science Team to create a supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Work closely with the Science Curriculum Leader to align on goals and ensure a shared vision for science education.
  • Design and implement assessments that monitor learner progress and support continuous improvement.
  • Utilize hands-on resources such as rooftop greenhouses to enhance science learning and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Science specialist with expertise in at least one of Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
  • Proven experience in delivering iGCSEs and project-based science education.
  • Strong commitment to personalized learning and inclusive education.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Valid teaching credential with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sensitivity to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Proficient in IT for classroom productivity and learning facilitation.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
  • Background in inquiry-based learning and transdisciplinary project-based learning.
  • Experience working in a school with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and real-world applications.
