Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons that integrate entrepreneurial thinking and real-world relevance.
- Implement inquiry-based learning strategies that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Facilitate transdisciplinary projects that combine the British Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate approach.
- Provide individualized support to learners, ensuring personalized learning experiences for all.
- Collaborate with the Science Team to create a supportive and collaborative working environment.
- Work closely with the Science Curriculum Leader to align on goals and ensure a shared vision for science education.
- Design and implement assessments that monitor learner progress and support continuous improvement.
- Utilize hands-on resources such as rooftop greenhouses to enhance science learning and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Science specialist with expertise in at least one of Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Proven experience in delivering iGCSEs and project-based science education.
- Strong commitment to personalized learning and inclusive education.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Valid teaching credential with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity to the diverse needs of all students.
- Proficient in IT for classroom productivity and learning facilitation.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
- Background in inquiry-based learning and transdisciplinary project-based learning.
- Experience working in a school with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and real-world applications.
