The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to deliver Chemistry, Physics, and General Science to students following international curricula such as IB, IGCSE, and A-Level. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Chemistry, Physics, and General Science aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials.
- Foster analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making among students.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.
- Support and supervise co-curricular activities and school-related projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and/or higher degree (MA/MS/MBA).
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a leadership role.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with IB, IGCSE, or A-Level curricula.
- Strong background in co-curricular activities and student leadership programs.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
