Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Monitor and support the learning and progress of pupils in assigned classes.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Science and department colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Work closely with parents, governors, and external agencies to support student success.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks, school policies, and Teacher Standards.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science teacher with relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in promoting student welfare and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering innovative Science teaching techniques.
  • Background in project-based learning or active learning strategies.
  • Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust.
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance Science education.
