Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Monitor and support the learning and progress of pupils in assigned classes.
- Collaborate with the Head of Science and department colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Work closely with parents, governors, and external agencies to support student success.
- Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks, school policies, and Teacher Standards.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science teacher with relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Commitment to student progress and achievement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in promoting student welfare and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering innovative Science teaching techniques.
- Background in project-based learning or active learning strategies.
- Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance Science education.
