Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize laboratory equipment for lessons as required.
- Clean and maintain laboratories after each lesson and manage chemical spillage promptly.
- Ensure safe storage and use of all laboratory equipment.
- Repair, fix, and maintain laboratory equipment (training provided).
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with science faculty to support teaching and learning.
- Keep detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of science experiments and demonstrations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Good understanding of health and safety in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in the safe handling and storage of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to follow service standards and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of science curriculum and teaching practices.
- Experience with laboratory equipment repair or maintenance.
