The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to assigned classes in line with the National Curriculum of England and Wales and exam board specifications.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Implement assessment for learning (AfL) strategies and provide regular feedback to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, prepare, and evaluate schemes of work.
  • Organize subject-related trips and events to enrich students’ learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents through parent consultation meetings and end-of-year reports.
  • Support the school’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s improvement plan.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and Wales and exam board requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge or French curricula.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Ability to lead and support colleagues through professional development.
