The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students aged 11-18. You will teach iGCSE and IBDP Mathematics, helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students aged 11-18, following the National Curriculum, iGCSE and IBDP syllabi.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Support students through individualized learning, including ESL and SEN support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A valid teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt or PGCE).
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Familiarity with the British education system.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IBDP or IB Careers Programme.
  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Experience with pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
