The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons aligned with curriculum and examination syllabuses.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to enhance student learning and progress.
- Set clear learning objectives and regularly assess student understanding.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to motivate and challenge students.
- Provide constructive feedback and support student improvement through targeted interventions.
- Monitor and report on student progress in line with whole college policies.
- Undertake pastoral duties, including form tutoring and monitoring student well-being.
- Promote the Catholic ethos and values of the school within the classroom and wider community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Psychology at sixth form level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
- Familiarity with SEN Code of Practice and relevant assessment procedures.
- Experience in working with diverse student groups and support staff.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral roles or form tutoring.
- Background in Catholic education or a commitment to the Catholic ethos.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with A-level and/or vocational qualifications in Psychology.

- Competitive salary range from £32,916 to £51,048 (MPS/UPS).
