Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a high-quality Computer Science curriculum.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance student engagement and achievement in Computer Science.
• Support the expansion of Computer Science at KS4 and strengthen existing community links.
• Deliver innovative and inspiring teaching that challenges and enthuses students.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to new and existing teachers within the department.
• Develop and manage extra-curricular opportunities that enhance student learning and skills.
• Work closely with the Bridge Academy Trust to ensure alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
• Maintain and utilise allocated computer suites with interactive teaching tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science and ICT.
• Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
• Strong commitment to student achievement and curriculum development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across the Trust.
• Experience in developing and delivering Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.

Preferred

• Experience in leading curriculum development or departmental strategy.
• Familiarity with ITT (Initial Teacher Training) and supporting new teachers.
• Experience in using interactive teaching technologies and software.
• Background in extracurricular program development or leadership.
