The Opportunity:

We are seeking an IT Technician Apprentice to provide essential IT support across the school. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and potentially transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning and contributing to a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first, second, and third line IT support to all users within the school.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communicate effectively with users of all ages, including students and staff.
  • Participate in in-house training and pursue recognized qualifications.
  • Occasionally travel to other schools within the Trust and to the central office.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Practical knowledge of PC hardware and software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work with children of all ages.
  • A positive and cheerful attitude.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in IT support or related field.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience with IT apprenticeship programs.
