The Opportunity:

As a Swimming Pool Supervisor, you will ensure the safety and comfort of all pool users while maintaining the highest standards of service. This role is essential for the smooth operation of the pool and surrounding areas, and requires a strong swimmer with NPLQ qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and comfort of all pool users at all times.
• Supervise and manage the operation of the pool, changing rooms, and communal areas.
• Provide life guarding support in line with emergency and normal operating procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service for all pool users.
• Prepare and monitor the pool environment before, during, and after use.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations consistently and professionally.
• Collaborate with the Sports Centre Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong swimming ability and trained to an NPLQ standard.
• Experience in lifeguarding or pool supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role within a school or leisure centre.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience with pool maintenance or equipment operation.
