The Opportunity:

As an Apprenticeship Programme Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality apprenticeship programmes that support the professional development of educators and support staff. This is a strategic leadership position focused on driving excellence in vocational training and teacher development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of Level 3 and Level 5 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships.
  • Ensure apprenticeship frameworks align with the school’s enhanced teaching pathway.
  • Deliver a gold-standard experience based on the KMT curriculum.
  • Lead and influence a high-performing team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Act as a catalyst for change in regional educational standards and workforce development.
  • Collaborate with partner schools and the MAT network to support programme delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the education sector.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in educational leadership or apprenticeship delivery.
  • Strong strategic and operational skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams in an educational setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and teacher training pathways.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the KMT curriculum or similar high-quality teaching programmes.
  • Background in initial teacher training or vocational education.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and strategies.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or large educational organisation.
