Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Support students with complex needs in a nurturing and structured environment
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and colleagues to ensure consistent standards
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Uphold professional standards while fostering student confidence and progress
- Design and implement lessons that encourage curiosity and lifelong learning
- Support students in achieving academic and personal goals
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working with students with SEMH and/or ASD
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Strong belief in the potential of every student to succeed
- High-quality classroom practice and professional standards
Preferred
- Experience working with young people from challenging backgrounds
- Evidence of improving pupil outcomes through effective teaching
