The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring teacher to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality learning experiences to individual students and small groups. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons (including GCSE in a core subject) for individuals and small groups
- Create and review Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans and tailored learning programmes
- Support nurture-based approaches and help students develop emotional regulation and self-control
- Monitor, record and report on progress, ensuring high-quality assessment and subject development
- Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and the wider multi-professional team
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and well-organised learning environment both on and off site
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Ability to teach a variety of subjects, including one core subject at GCSE level
- Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, student-centred approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Driving licence required
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties
- Commitment to continuous professional development
