The Opportunity:
As a Sports Centre Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a state-of-the-art sports facility. You will support the Sports Centre Manager and contribute to the delivery of a first-class experience for students and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety across all sports facilities.
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain and manage the cleanliness, organisation, and functionality of all sports areas.
- Support the development of new facilities and initiatives to enhance the sports programme.
- Assist with the booking and management of sports equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise the use of the sports centre.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with all school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a customer service or facility management role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
Preferred
- Experience in a sports or educational setting.
- Knowledge of sports equipment and facility maintenance.
- Experience with event management or sports programme delivery.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a sports environment.
