Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English and a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities such as drama, debating, or literature societies.
  • Experience with curriculum development or assessment design.
