Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress.

  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or equivalent.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in middle leadership roles such as Head of Year or ECA Coordination.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as A Levels, GCSEs, or BTECs.
