Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across the full age and ability range.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a well-sequenced curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
  • Provide pastoral support where appropriate.
  • Engage in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practice.
  • Support the school’s mission of raising aspirations and achievement through Mathematics.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Commitment to high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
  • Experience working with students across a range of abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE and A Level Mathematics.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with Core Maths or Further Mathematics.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods or technologies.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
