Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across the full age and ability range.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a well-sequenced curriculum.
- Support students in achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
- Provide pastoral support where appropriate.
- Engage in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practice.
- Support the school’s mission of raising aspirations and achievement through Mathematics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
- Experience working with students across a range of abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE and A Level Mathematics.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with Core Maths or Further Mathematics.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technologies.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
