Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.

  • Stay up to date with key educational policies and incorporate them into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree or equivalent experience with a teaching qualification.
  • Proven ability to teach Science to students aged 11-18 with excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong personal organisation and time management abilities.
  • A clear understanding of national and educational policies and issues.
  • Commitment to improving student achievement and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Science to a range of abilities.
  • Experience with continuous professional development and leadership in education.
  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
