The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ICT and Business Teacher to join a dynamic and collaborative department that delivers high-quality academic and vocational courses. This role offers the chance to inspire students and grow professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality ICT and Business lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student achievement and progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, refine pedagogy, and support continuous curriculum improvement.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ensure compliance with Teachers’ Standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of building character and encouraging personal success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or eligible for Induction.
  • Strong subject knowledge in ICT and Business.
  • Commitment to the Teachers’ Standards.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and education.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching ICT or Business at Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Experience with vocational courses or curriculum development.
  • Experience working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Experience with safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
