The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students and teachers in creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and contribute to a supportive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in managing classroom activities and student behavior.
  • Assist in delivering learning programs tailored to student needs.
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans.
  • Monitor and support students during breaks and other non-teaching times.
  • Contribute to school events and activities that promote student engagement.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role, preferably in a school setting.
  • Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of curriculum requirements and teaching methodologies.
  • Experience in a school environment within the North of England.
  • Understanding of inclusive education practices.
