The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students and teachers in creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes and contribute to a supportive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in managing classroom activities and student behavior.
- Assist in delivering learning programs tailored to student needs.
- Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans.
- Monitor and support students during breaks and other non-teaching times.
- Contribute to school events and activities that promote student engagement.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or support role, preferably in a school setting.
- Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with additional needs.
- Knowledge of curriculum requirements and teaching methodologies.
- Experience in a school environment within the North of England.
- Understanding of inclusive education practices.
