As a KS1 Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds during their early years of education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the diverse needs of KS1 students.
  • Assess and report on pupil progress, setting short-term learning targets in line with school policy.
  • Promote the social and emotional well-being of students, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building strong partnerships to support student success.
  • Participate in professional development, including INSET and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment, safeguarding student health and well-being.
  • Support students in preparing for statutory assessments such as Phonics Screening.
  • Contribute to the induction of new staff and the development of the school’s curriculum and pastoral systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on KS1.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.

Preferred

  • Experience with SEND support or differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and statutory assessments.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
