The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Visual Art lessons that inspire and engage students
- Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student creativity and personal growth
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate
- Encourage and assess student progress through a range of creative and technical skills
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider life of the school
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Visual Art and incorporate innovative teaching methods
- Support the school’s values and ethos through positive role modelling
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Visual Art or a related field
- Experience in teaching Visual Art at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred
- Specialism in photography
- Experience in developing creative learning resources
- Experience with digital art and design tools
- Experience in leading extracurricular art activities or clubs
