Visual Art Teacher needed for part-time role starting September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Visual Art lessons that inspire and engage students
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student creativity and personal growth
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate
  • Encourage and assess student progress through a range of creative and technical skills
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Visual Art and incorporate innovative teaching methods
  • Support the school’s values and ethos through positive role modelling

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Visual Art or a related field
  • Experience in teaching Visual Art at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Specialism in photography
  • Experience in developing creative learning resources
  • Experience with digital art and design tools
  • Experience in leading extracurricular art activities or clubs
