The Opportunity:
As an Academic Administrator, you will play a key role in managing academic data and supporting strategic decision-making across the school. This position is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient timetable administration throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyse academic data to support pupil progress and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Academic Leadership Team, Admissions Team, and Heads of Department.
- Oversee the annual timetabling cycle, ensuring timetables are accurate and responsive.
- Provide high-quality information to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support the school in achieving its academic and operational goals.
- Ensure efficient administration and communication across departments.
- Contribute to the overall success of the school through data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in academic administration or data management within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using data management systems and software.
- Understanding of educational processes and reporting requirements.
Preferred
- Experience in timetabling or academic planning.
- Knowledge of school management systems.
- Experience working in a co-educational or independent school setting.
- Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £24,501 per annum.
- 37.5 hours per week during term time plus 4 additional weeks per annum.
