The Opportunity:

As an Academic Administrator, you will play a key role in managing academic data and supporting strategic decision-making across the school. This position is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient timetable administration throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyse academic data to support pupil progress and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Leadership Team, Admissions Team, and Heads of Department.
  • Oversee the annual timetabling cycle, ensuring timetables are accurate and responsive.
  • Provide high-quality information to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support the school in achieving its academic and operational goals.
  • Ensure efficient administration and communication across departments.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school through data-driven insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in academic administration or data management within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using data management systems and software.
  • Understanding of educational processes and reporting requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience in timetabling or academic planning.
  • Knowledge of school management systems.
  • Experience working in a co-educational or independent school setting.
  • Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £24,501 per annum.
  • 37.5 hours per week during term time plus 4 additional weeks per annum.
