The Opportunity:

As an Alumni Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in engaging alumni to support the careers and enrichment activities of students. This is a unique opportunity to work with a large and active alumni network, contributing to the school’s mission of inspiring young people to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and build strong relationships with alumni volunteers to support the school’s development and enrichment activities.
  • Plan and deliver events that connect alumni with students and staff.
  • Coordinate with the Futures and Development Teams to ensure alignment with shared objectives.
  • Maintain detailed records of alumni interactions and engagement activities.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including students, teachers, and alumni.
  • Support the development of volunteer programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with the school’s values and policies.
  • Work flexibly across teams and departments to achieve the school’s goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in developing and managing relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event planning and delivery.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in alumni engagement or fundraising.
  • Knowledge of education or youth development.
  • Experience with volunteer management or community engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the benefits of alumni involvement in education.
