The Opportunity:
As a Development Manager - Events and Fundraising, you will play a vital role in shaping the school's fundraising strategy and events program. This is an opportunity to contribute to the school's mission by building relationships with alumni and the wider community, while managing fundraising initiatives and stewardship activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop the school’s events and engagement activities for alumni and the wider community.
- Manage fundraising initiatives and stewardship communications to ensure strong donor relationships.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Development Department’s work.
- Work closely with the Head of Development and the External Relations team to achieve strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni and donors.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of the team’s work through effective planning and evaluation.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting its values and achievements through events and communications.
- Manage and monitor fundraising targets and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree-level education with experience in relationship development and community engagement.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver events and fundraising activities.
- Experience in a similar role or relevant sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in fundraising or alumni relations.
- Knowledge of educational fundraising and donor management systems.
- Experience in managing large-scale events or campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in achieving fundraising targets.
