The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons in Business and Global Perspectives, encouraging critical thinking and research skills.
  • Guide students through independent research projects, case studies, and extended written responses.
  • Create a stimulating and academically rigorous classroom environment that fosters curiosity and global mindedness.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families to support student success.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support the school’s mission of promoting social and environmental awareness through curriculum delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching strategies and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Global Studies, International Relations, or a closely related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognised teaching qualification suitable for post-16 education.
  • Proven experience teaching A-Level Business and/or Global Perspectives, preferably in a British or international school setting.
  • Ability to deliver inquiry-based learning that develops critical thinking and global awareness.
  • Experience guiding students through independent research and extended written responses.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, child welfare, and compliance with school policies.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a British international school environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments.
