The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business and Global Perspectives Teacher to join a dynamic and progressive school. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and foster critical thinking, global awareness, and academic excellence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons in Business and Global Perspectives, encouraging critical thinking and research skills.
- Guide students through independent research projects, case studies, and extended written responses.
- Create a stimulating and academically rigorous classroom environment that fosters curiosity and global mindedness.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families to support student success.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and statutory requirements.
- Support the school’s mission of promoting social and environmental awareness through curriculum delivery.
- Contribute to the development of innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Global Studies, International Relations, or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognised teaching qualification suitable for post-16 education.
- Proven experience teaching A-Level Business and/or Global Perspectives, preferably in a British or international school setting.
- Ability to deliver inquiry-based learning that develops critical thinking and global awareness.
- Experience guiding students through independent research and extended written responses.
- Commitment to safeguarding, child welfare, and compliance with school policies.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in a British international school environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments.
