As a Business Support Officer - Finance, you will play a key role in delivering efficient and effective financial support to a school committed to excellence in education. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the school’s financial systems and processes.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain and update financial records using appropriate software and systems.
- Collaborate with the wider business support team to ensure seamless operations.
- Support the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff, pupils, and external partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience of working in a finance setting.
- Experience of using a financial system.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
