Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for science.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and school initiatives.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities and community events.
  • Provide pastoral support to students and maintain strong communication with parents and guardians.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Science with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with students and parents.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching within an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Experience with the iPGCE or NQT programme.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to support students in additional languages.
