Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to KS3 students, using innovative and engaging teaching methods.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor's degree in Science with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science at KS3 level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in international education or teaching in a multicultural environment.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities or community engagement.
  • Experience with CPD programmes or professional development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with British Schools Overseas (BSO) standards and accreditation.
