The Opportunity:

As a Chief Exam Invigilator, you will lead and manage the exam invigilator team to ensure all examinations are conducted smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations. This role is essential in supporting students to achieve their best and maintaining the integrity of the exam process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the exam invigilator team to ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of all examinations.
  • Maintain examination integrity by monitoring candidates and enforcing exam rules.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates and staff throughout the exam process.
  • Remain calm under pressure and manage any issues that arise during exams.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to other invigilators.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and records are completed accurately and on time.
  • Attend a compulsory, paid training session to prepare for the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with both students and staff.
  • Confidence in leading and managing a team.
  • Experience in exam invigilation or a similar role.
  • Commitment to upholding examination integrity.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience with exam regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with educational settings and student management.
