Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mandarin lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Prepare students for HSK, GCSE, and A-level examinations.
  • Collaborate with the languages department to develop and refine schemes of work.
  • Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Mandarin instruction.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Strong knowledge of Mandarin language and culture.
  • Experience preparing students for public examinations such as HSK, GCSE, and A-level.
  • Commitment to student progress and pastoral care.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school setting, particularly with students of varying abilities.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and virtual teaching platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
