The Opportunity:
As a Graduate Musician & Administrator, you will support the Director of Music in delivering a high-quality music program that inspires students and promotes excellence. You will play a key role in both the teaching and administrative aspects of the school's dynamic music department, while also assisting with events, tours, and productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the teaching and administration of a vibrant and dynamic music program.
- Support the organisation and delivery of concerts, music tours, and stage productions.
- Develop and implement a broad, enriching co-curricular program that promotes leadership and teamwork.
- Communicate and implement co-curricular initiatives across the school.
- Oversee and promote the educational value of co-curricular activities.
- Coordinate with staff and students to ensure the success of music and co-curricular events.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to music and co-curricular activities.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree, preferably in Music or Music/Sound Production.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience in a musical or educational setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or administration within a school or educational institution.
- Background in a variety of musical instruments or styles.
- Experience with co-curricular program development and management.
- Familiarity with event planning and stage production.
