The Opportunity:

As a Graduate Musician & Administrator, you will support the Director of Music in delivering a high-quality music program that inspires students and promotes excellence. You will play a key role in both the teaching and administrative aspects of the school's dynamic music department, while also assisting with events, tours, and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the teaching and administration of a vibrant and dynamic music program.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of concerts, music tours, and stage productions.
  • Develop and implement a broad, enriching co-curricular program that promotes leadership and teamwork.
  • Communicate and implement co-curricular initiatives across the school.
  • Oversee and promote the educational value of co-curricular activities.
  • Coordinate with staff and students to ensure the success of music and co-curricular events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to music and co-curricular activities.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honours degree, preferably in Music or Music/Sound Production.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in a musical or educational setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or administration within a school or educational institution.
  • Background in a variety of musical instruments or styles.
  • Experience with co-curricular program development and management.
  • Familiarity with event planning and stage production.
