The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, curriculum-focused lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with the English National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities and support school events.
  • Work closely with parents to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Support the delivery of a broad range of co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • In-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in education.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
  • Fluency in Dutch or willingness to learn the language.
