The Opportunity:

A dynamic and passionate Computer Science Teacher is sought to join a growing department that inspires students in the field of technology. This role offers the chance to teach across KS3 to KS5, with opportunities to lead students in robotics, eSports, and other competitive computing arenas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 to KS5.
  • Inspire students in areas such as algorithms, Python programming, cyber security, and networks.
  • Support and lead students in extracurricular activities such as robotics, video game design, and eSports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and innovative curriculum.
  • Maintain a state-of-the-art computing suite and use it to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Encourage digital literacy and prepare students for success in the 21st century.
  • Contribute to the school’s values and support the overall educational mission.
  • Participate in the school’s professional development and mentorship programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, Python programming, cyber security, and networks.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work with students across KS3 to KS5.
  • Passion for inspiring students in technology and computing.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a co-educational environment.
  • Background in robotics, video game design, or eSports.
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate or A Level curriculum.
