The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring Computer Science Teacher to join our Secondary team and help students achieve outstanding results in KS3, IGCSE, and A-Level. As part of the STEAM faculty, you will collaborate with colleagues and contribute to interdisciplinary learning and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, challenging learning activities for students across KS3, IGCSE, and A-Level.
- Foster a learning culture that encourages achievement and innovation in computer science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and approaches to learning.
- Participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities that support student development.
- Stay current with technological advancements and integrate them into teaching practices.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Support the school’s mission through a commitment to academic excellence and student wellbeing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- University degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
- At least two years of teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer science and the ability to inspire students.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.
- Willingness to meet visa-related requirements, including holding a bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level computer science.
- Background in STEAM education and interdisciplinary learning.
- Familiarity with Nord Anglia Education’s global programmes and initiatives.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
