The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Cricket Coach to support all Divisions at the school. This part-time role involves coaching during term-time, with a commitment to Saturday fixtures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive sporting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor students across all cricket divisions.
  • Deliver structured training sessions that develop both individual and team skills.
  • Prepare and implement strategies for competitive fixtures and matches.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school.
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall sports program.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during coaching sessions.
  • Support the development of junior players and encourage a lifelong passion for cricket.
  • Maintain accurate records of player progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant coaching qualifications and experience in cricket.
  • A strong understanding of cricket coaching techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching at a school or academy level.
  • Knowledge of youth development in cricket.
  • Experience with other sports and the ability to coach multiple sports.
