The Opportunity:
Join a thriving Performing Arts department as a Dance Teacher with Drama. Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, and inspire students through creativity and innovation in both Dance and Drama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Dance lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
- Teach Drama to Key Stage 3 with energy, imagination, and purpose.
- Support school productions, showcases, and enrichment activities.
- Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive Performing Arts curriculum.
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student voice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Performing Arts department.
- Promote student well-being and confidence through the arts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a specialism in Dance and a flair for Drama.
- Experience in teaching Dance and Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusion, creativity, and student well-being.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in Dance and Drama education.
- Experience with school productions or performing arts events.
- Passion for working with young people and inspiring them to reach their potential.
