Join a thriving Performing Arts department as a Dance Teacher with Drama. Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, and inspire students through creativity and innovation in both Dance and Drama.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Dance lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
  • Teach Drama to Key Stage 3 with energy, imagination, and purpose.
  • Support school productions, showcases, and enrichment activities.
  • Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive Performing Arts curriculum.
  • Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student voice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Performing Arts department.
  • Promote student well-being and confidence through the arts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a specialism in Dance and a flair for Drama.
  • Experience in teaching Dance and Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusion, creativity, and student well-being.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and enrichment activities.
  • Knowledge of current trends and practices in Dance and Drama education.
  • Experience with school productions or performing arts events.
  • Passion for working with young people and inspiring them to reach their potential.
