The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs in the classroom and during targeted interventions.
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to adapt lesson delivery and implement effective strategies.
- Deliver creative and engaging interventions that build student confidence and motivation.
- Assist in identifying and addressing barriers to learning for vulnerable students.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Participate in staff development and training to enhance support strategies.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture that values every student.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative.
- Commitment to supporting student achievement and wellbeing.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and SEND frameworks.
- Experience with behaviour management and pastoral support.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and learning support tools.
